QC MATERIAL LLC
Terms & Policies
Version 2026-10-25-v1 · October 25, 2026
These policies apply to orders that accept this version. Please review them before placing your order. You can save or print this page for your records.
1. Cabinet Purchase, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Your order
QC Material supplies cabinetry and related products identified in your order confirmation or invoice. Review the model numbers, quantities, dimensions, finish, preparation option, accessories, appliance specifications, and delivery or pickup details before approving your order. A design rendering is illustrative; your approved itemized order identifies what is included. RTA means ready-to-assemble and is supplied unassembled. Assembly and installation are separate services and are included only when expressly purchased.
Customers are responsible for information and measurements supplied by them or their contractors. We remain responsible for errors in measurements, order entry, or services we perform. Customer approval does not excuse our own errors. Samples are recommended for evaluating color and finish; screen images and illustrations are not exact color standards.
Payments and acceptance
Payment terms and applicable taxes, assembly, delivery, and other disclosed charges appear at checkout or on your written quote. Unless a written payment schedule states otherwise, payment is due before an order is released for fulfillment. A payment receipt alone does not guarantee inventory or a delivery date. We will confirm the order and its fulfillment arrangements. If we decline or cannot fulfill a paid order, we will notify you and refund the applicable payment promptly.
Change-of-mind returns and cancellations
Except for the remedies and cancellation rights described in these policies or required by law, we do not offer change-of-mind returns or refunds on cabinet orders once the approved order has been released to the manufacturer or fulfillment warehouse. This includes customer ordering or measurement errors, project changes, surplus products, and changes in preferred color or style. This restriction also applies to assembled, custom, special-order, altered, and disclosed final-sale cabinetry; it does not remove rights concerning defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.
Submit any change or cancellation request promptly in writing. Before release, we will confirm whether the request can be accommodated and identify any separately authorized work already performed. After release, changes require our written agreement and may affect price or timing. No cancellation or restocking charge will be deducted from a refund required by law. An approved voluntary return, if exceptionally offered, will have its condition, freight, and any fee agreed in writing before you send it.
Manufacturer defects: replacement first
We will make every reasonable effort to help customers obtain replacement parts or products for eligible manufacturing defects. We will document the issue, submit and follow up on the manufacturer claim, coordinate approved replacements, and communicate available updates.
Our standard approach is to replace the affected part or item rather than issue a refund, where permitted by law. A replaceable door, drawer front, hinge, or panel does not ordinarily require replacement of the entire cabinet or kitchen. Manufacturer warranty terms determine manufacturer coverage, but do not eliminate QC Material’s separate legal responsibilities. Where you have a legal right to reject defective goods or receive a refund, replacement is your option, not a compulsory substitute. If replacement is unavailable or fails to provide an adequate remedy within a reasonable time, we will provide the further remedy required by law.
Out-of-stock or discontinued products
If the manufacturer cannot supply an ordered item because it is out of stock or discontinued, we will offer you a refund for that item or an alternative you approve. You may instead agree to wait for a temporary backorder. We will not substitute another size, finish, style, or product without your approval. If an approved replacement for a defective product cannot be supplied because of manufacturer unavailability, we will arrange an appropriate refund or an agreed alternative.
Refunds include the applicable price actually paid, tax, and refundable delivery or other charges. An unavailable component does not automatically cancel every unaffected item; however, any right to cancel a larger order or set under applicable law is preserved. A refund owed to you will not depend on our first receiving reimbursement from the manufacturer.
Refund administration
Refunds are returned to the original payment method where available, with another lawful method arranged if necessary. We do not substitute store credit for a required monetary refund. We will explain the amount and issue refunds within applicable legal deadlines; bank posting times may vary. No blanket exclusion of delivery fees, payment fees, or deposits overrides a legally required refund.
2. Shipping, Delivery & Pickup Policy
Availability, charges and timing
U.S. delivery is subject to confirmation of service to your ZIP code. Nationwide inquiries are welcome, but service to every address, including Alaska, Hawaii, territories, or remote areas, is not guaranteed. Delivery fees depend on the products, destination, and service level. We will confirm the fee and service before committing your order to fulfillment. If delivery is quoted separately, we will obtain your approval; if the proposed arrangement is unacceptable before release, you may choose an available pickup option or cancel for a refund of payments for unfulfilled goods.
Processing, assembly, shipping, and delivery are different stages. The applicable timeframe will be provided with your order; we do not promise a universal processing or transit period. For covered online or telephone orders, if no shipment timeframe is stated, the applicable default shipment period is generally 30 days after a properly completed order is received. If we cannot ship on time, we will provide the required delay notice and choice to agree to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund. Further delays will be handled with any additional consent or refund required by law. Delays outside our control do not eliminate these rights.
Delivery arrangements
Your confirmation will specify whether delivery is curbside, driveway, garage, or another agreed service. Inside delivery, stairs, unpacking, assembly, installation, and debris removal are not included unless listed. Tell us about access restrictions before scheduling. Arrange for an adult representative and any unloading assistance required by the agreed service. Tracking or an appointment update will be provided when available.
If a customer-requested change, inaccurate address, or missed appointment causes additional storage or redelivery costs, we may charge reasonable, documented amounts under terms disclosed and accepted in advance. This does not apply to delays or errors caused by us, or to a lawful rejection or cancellation. We do not treat delivery to the carrier as automatic transfer of all loss or damage risk to the customer. Contact us about lost, damaged, or misdelivered goods; we will investigate and coordinate the appropriate replacement or refund.
Pickup
Pickup is by arrangement at the designated partner warehouse in ZIP code 07004. Wait for a ready-for-pickup notice and the exact address before traveling. Our business mailing address is not a confirmed pickup location. Bring the order reference, an appropriate vehicle, and any loading assistance specified in your confirmation. Inspect the goods before loading and secure them for transport. Damage caused by the customer’s subsequent handling or transportation is distinct from an existing product defect or damage caused by our personnel.
Receiving your order
Count cartons, inspect visible condition, photograph damage, and note shortages or damage on the delivery receipt where possible. A signature does not waive claims for concealed damage or defects. Follow the single reporting process in Section 3. Do not schedule demolition or dependent installation solely around an unconfirmed arrival estimate.
3. Damage Claims, Manufacturer Warranty & Product Care
One reporting process
Inspect all components before assembly or installation. Report visible damage, incorrect products, shortages, or concealed delivery damage promptly, preferably within seven calendar days after delivery or pickup. This is a requested inspection and reporting period, not a limitation on applicable warranties, later-discovered defects, or statutory rights. A missed reporting target does not automatically invalidate a claim, although delayed reporting can make freight damage harder to verify.
Email [email protected] with your order number, affected model numbers and quantities, a short description, delivery paperwork if available, and clear photos of the full item, close-up damage, packaging, and labels. Phone or text us at 848-327-3779 if you need assistance documenting a claim. Keep affected items and packaging until we provide instructions. Do not ship anything back without coordinated return instructions.
Stop work on a visibly affected part and contact us before cutting, installing, repairing, or discarding it. Changes that cause further damage or prevent verification may affect the remedy, but installation alone does not waive a claim for a hidden manufacturing defect.
Resolution and costs
We will review the issue, distinguish manufacturing defects from shipping, fulfillment, or installation problems, and coordinate the appropriate resolution. Replacement may involve a component or an entire unit. Material substitutions require your approval. We will provide available timing and updates without guaranteeing a manufacturer’s unconfirmed lead time.
For a validated delivery-damage, incorrect-item, or shortage claim for which we are responsible, we will cover the necessary corrective shipping or collection. For later manufacturer warranty claims, shipping and labor coverage depend on the warranty and applicable law; any customer charge must be explained before authorization. Manufacturer denial does not by itself determine whether we owe you a remedy.
Warranty coverage
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and product; applicable written terms will be made available before purchase. No uniform lifetime or other fixed warranty period is promised by this policy. A product warranty does not automatically cover removal, reinstallation, countertop changes, contractor standby time, or other project expenses. Contact us before incurring expenses for which you seek reimbursement. This provision does not exclude costs or remedies we are legally required to provide, or responsibility for our own defective work.
Normal wood grain, texture, and color variation, aging, and seasonal movement within the product’s disclosed specifications are not necessarily defects. Material mismatches, structural failures, or departures from the agreed specifications remain reviewable. Follow the manufacturer’s storage, humidity, cleaning, and installation instructions. Damage caused by misuse, water exposure, improper storage or installation, or unauthorized alteration is generally outside manufacturer coverage. The cause of the claimed issue matters; unrelated alterations do not automatically cancel every warranty right.
4. Website & Sales Terms
Scope and seller
QC MATERIAL LLC operates QC Material and qcmaterial.com. These terms govern use of our website and purchases from QC MATERIAL LLC, together with the purchase, delivery, warranty, and privacy policies provided before the transaction. They do not automatically govern an order placed with a different legal seller. Installation or remodeling work requires a separate written scope and any legally required contract and notices.
Accurate information and authorized use
You must be legally able and authorized to enter the transaction, provide accurate contact and order information, and use a payment method you are authorized to use. Protect any order-access links or account credentials. You may use the website for legitimate personal or business purchasing and project planning. Do not misuse another person’s information, submit fraudulent orders, introduce malicious code, or interfere with site security or operation.
Prices, descriptions and promotions
Prices and offers may change for future orders. Your accepted order records its agreed prices and selections. Applicable charges must be disclosed before payment authorization. Promotions are governed by their disclosed conditions; later offers do not apply retroactively unless stated. We will not impose an undisclosed new price on an accepted order. If a material pricing or listing error affects an order, we will explain it and offer the corrected terms for your approval or cancel and refund the affected unfulfilled purchase, subject to applicable law. Eligible promo codes currently provide 25% off the displayed product selling prices, not the crossed-out comparison prices. Apply one valid code before payment; codes cannot be stacked. Assembly, delivery, taxes and any card surcharge are excluded from product discounts. Your checkout and invoice show the actual discount and charges. We record the code used and its associated marketing or referral source with the order. Any later promotion changes apply only to future orders.
Availability is confirmed for the order; a catalog listing alone is not an inventory guarantee. Photos, technical drawings, and room renderings may show accessories or configurations not included in the listed item. Product information and descriptions remain part of what we represent to you; these terms do not excuse a materially inaccurate description.
Design, project services and changes
Design assistance uses the information available to us. Customers and their installers must check field conditions, appliance requirements, clearances, and the approved item list before ordering or installation. This does not shift responsibility for our own errors to the customer. Only expressly listed services are included. Additional work or changed scope requires a written agreement identifying cost and schedule effects.
For separately contracted installation, provide safe access and the site conditions described in that contract. Any rescheduling, cancellation, storage, or other charge must follow the agreed terms and applicable law. We will not use a cabinet policy to override a statutory cancellation right for a home improvement contract. Services advertised as free are not retroactively assigned a fee when a dispute arises.
Intellectual property, project photos and reviews
Website content belongs to QC Material or its licensors. You may save product information for legitimate purchasing and project planning; broader commercial republication requires permission. You retain ownership of plans and photos you provide and authorize us to use them to quote, fulfill, and support your project. Public marketing use of identifiable project photos requires separate permission. These terms do not restrict honest reviews or lawful complaints.
Third-party services and responsibility
Payment, hosting, communications, and delivery providers may assist us. Their own terms may apply to their services, but QC Material remains responsible for its sales obligations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. No provision here excludes non-waivable warranties, liability for fraud or willful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. These terms do not require you to waive a valid payment dispute or consumer complaint.
Disputes, governing law and policy changes
Contact us with your order number and concern so we can investigate. This is an invitation to resolve the issue, not a condition that removes a legal remedy. New Jersey law and applicable federal law govern to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers in other states of mandatory protections available to them. These terms do not require arbitration, waive class actions, or require a consumer to use a forum that applicable law does not permit.
Changes to these policies apply prospectively and will identify their effective date. An existing order remains governed by the version accepted at purchase unless a lawful change is separately agreed. A specific written agreement accepted by both parties controls over a conflicting general provision, subject to mandatory law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
New Jersey and other mandatory consumer rights
Where New Jersey household furniture or furnishings delivery rules apply, a missed promised delivery date, incomplete delivery, or delivery of damaged or materially nonconforming merchandise may entitle you to cancel and receive a prompt full refund rather than accept a delayed delivery or replacement. Our normal replacement-first and change-of-mind restrictions do not override those choices. The applicable order document must contain the required delivery date and notices.
Where a transaction is a New Jersey home improvement contract, applicable statutory cancellation rights, including the three-business-day cancellation period, are preserved. The required notice, cancellation instructions, and contractor disclosures must appear in the separate compliant contract. Other state and federal cancellation rights also remain available when applicable.
5. Privacy Policy
Who we are and information we handle
QC MATERIAL LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. It applies to qcmaterial.com and our customer communications. Depending on how you interact with us, we collect contact and delivery details; order, quote, invoice and payment-status records; communications; project measurements, plans and photographs you provide; and technical information such as IP address, browser/device details and site activity generated through our website and service providers.
We obtain information from you, from technical operation of the website, and from providers assisting with payments, fulfillment and communications. Share only information needed for your project; avoid including unrelated personal details in plans or photos.
Purposes and recipients
We use information to prepare designs and quotes, process and fulfill orders, coordinate pickup or delivery, send invoices and order updates, provide support and warranty assistance, prevent fraud, maintain website operation, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Promotional communications, if offered, are handled with the notices, choices and consent required by law.
Relevant information may be disclosed to payment processors, website hosting and security providers, communications providers, manufacturers or warehouses, carriers, and professional advisers for those purposes. Contact and shipping details support delivery; order records and relevant photos support product claims; payment and invoice details support transaction processing. Information may also be disclosed when lawfully required, to protect legal rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not publish your identifiable project photos for marketing without separate permission.
Our website uses Clover for hosted payment processing, Cloudflare for website hosting and infrastructure, and Resend for invoice email delivery. Payment credentials entered on Clover’s hosted payment page are handled by Clover; QC Material receives order and transaction information needed to process and reconcile the purchase. Do not send full card numbers or security codes by email or text.
Browser storage, analytics and advertising
Our shopping functions use browser storage to remember cart selections and promotional codes. Hosting, security and payment services may also use cookies or similar technologies for their functions. You can manage browser storage and cookies in your browser, although doing so may affect shopping or payment features.
As of this policy version, QC Material has not installed Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics or other third-party advertising pixels or analytics trackers on its website. We use our social-media channels to direct visitors to our website. If you use a promotional code, we record the code and associated channel or referral source with your order for attribution; this is not cross-site advertising tracking. Social-media platforms operate under their own privacy policies when you use their services. Necessary hosting, security and payment technologies may still process technical information. If we introduce advertising or analytics tracking, we will update the notice and provide any choices or consent required before using it.
Email and text communications
We may contact you about a quote, order, delivery or support request using details you provide. Providing a phone number for an order does not by itself enroll you in recurring promotional texts. Any recurring marketing-text program requires its own enrollment notice, applicable consent, frequency and fee information, and functioning opt-out/help instructions before activation. Email marketing, if offered, will include an unsubscribe method. Marketing preferences do not prevent necessary transaction or legally required communications.
Retention and safeguards
We retain information for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, warranty service, accounting and legal requirements, and dispute handling. Retention depends on record type and those needs; information should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved; no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your residence and the law applicable to our business, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, opt out of certain data uses, or appeal a denied request. Contact [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call 848-327-3779 for assistance. We may need proportionate verification of identity and, where relevant, an authorized agent’s authority. We will respond within applicable legal periods, explain any permitted refusal, and provide an appeal process when required. To appeal, reply with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” Exercising a protected privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.
Children, external sites and changes
Our services are intended for adult purchasers and are not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action. External sites have their own privacy practices. We will date material changes to this notice and provide any additional notice or consent required by law. Use of our website alone is not treated as consent to unrelated marketing or data practices that require separate consent.
